Landgate at Dowerin Field Day

Visitors to Dowerin Field Day will be the first to view the pre-launch version of Landgate's new online service, Create a Map. 

Internet users can go online and customise their own map, giving them total control and convenience. Using aerial photography as a base they can then add other information such as land boundaries, contours and road names. Depending on the size of the map, it can be delivered to an inbox within 30 minutes. As part of the online service, Landgate can print and laminate customised maps upon request. 

Jump on the Landgate Clipper and visit us in the Technology tent to experience Create a Map before its September release. While you're there enter the competition to win your own customised map worth $270. 

With a number of specialists on hand, Landgate will also be demonstrating other products and services aimed at the agricultural market. These include; 

• Pastures from Space – An annual subscription service providing weekly Pasture Growth Rates for every
  paddock. 
• AgImage – Greenness or biomass measures to better manage your farm. 
• Firewatch - Essential land management information for tracking, managing and controlling fires. 
• Rural Sales Map - Find out how much the land around you is worth. Assess the value of rural property with recent sales data plotted on a single map. 

As a special show discount, Landgate will be offering 10 per cent off annual subscriptions to their Pastures from Space service when ordered at Dowerin Field Day. 

Landgate are also hosting a Hot Topic session at 11am on Thursday 26 August. The session will provide valuable information on how using today's technology can make farming more profitable.
