Landgate sponsored the 2012 Perth Rotary Ramble, providing 10,000 maps for the event on Sunday 21 October, which raised money for Telethon and Australian Rotary Health.
The Ramble is a unique treasure hunt that takes place over four hours in the Perth Central Business District.
Landgate provided 10,000 customised maps to help participants find their way to 'checkpoints' where they tackled challenges, riddles and puzzles in order to earn points. Teams with the most points were eligible for prizes.
Landgate Chief Executive Mike Bradford participated in one of three Landgate teams and said he thoroughly enjoyed the day.
"It was a great event that showcased our capital city and for a worthwhile cause," said Mr Bradford.
"Our teams were pushed both mentally and physically completing the course with a real sense of achievement.
"Landgate was pleased to sponsor this event for a second year."
Landgate Account Manager Roberto Hofmann donned the costume of Landgate's superhero Map Man for the day and said his alter-ego was well received.
"In the spirit of the day, Map Man was there to help participants find their way around Perth," Mr Hofmann said.
"The kids loved it."
More than 650 teams competed on the day, raising $70,000 for charity.
