The Western Australian Registrar and Commissioner of Titles Joint Practice: Verification of Identity (VOI), dated 20 June 2012 and referred to here as the 'Practice', commenced on 1 July 2012 with a six month transitional implementation period. Full compliance with the Practice is expected on specified documents lodged on and from 2 January 2013.
As part of Landgate's commitment to supporting the implementation of the Practice, we have commenced delivering a series of training workshops for industry professionals.
The current series of industry training workshops have been scheduled from 28 August to 11 September 2012. These workshops are now fully booked.
We thank those who have booked a workshop session and we look forward to meeting you in the near future. Please ensure that you have read the Practice (dated 20 June 2012) prior to attending the workshop as it's imperative that you have an understanding of how the Practice works and your responsibilities under the Practice.

We also acknowledge your requests for additional workshops and we are currently in the process of scheduling training for the metropolitan and regional areas.
