Change in Practice: the requirement to process dealings over leases of Crown land where the duplicate lease has not been produced

There has been a change in practice whereby the registration of documents over Crown land will no longer require the production of the duplicate lease of Crown land.

Documents such as Transfers, Mortgages, Charges and Surrenders over leases of Crown land can now be processed without the need for production of the duplicate lease of Crown land or evidence of non-deposit as a security or lien.
