With the move to electronic lodgement of land transfer documents, the Registrar of Titles, Jean Villani, is keen to ensure all members of the conveyancing industry understand how the transition to paperless conveyancing will occur and how they can prepare and participate in the journey.
To this end, the Registrar has organised a series of face-to-face and online information sessions to look at the steps already taken on the journey to electronic lodgement, to present an update on current activities, and provide an overview of what changes are yet to come.
In particular, she will be discussing eligible subscribers and eligible documents, and the role of all the various stakeholders in the move to electronic lodgement of land transfer documents.
