Landgate has been working in partnership with land development organisations and government agencies to ensure that, collaboratively, we can meet the increased activity across plan lodgement and new titles applications arising from Government stimulus packages.
Given the end dates (currently 31 December 2020) for the government’s stimulus payments, Landgate is expecting an influx of plan lodgements and new title applications throughout the remainder of the year.
To ensure titles are issued prior to this date, it is currently expected plans will need to be lodged by the end of November 2020 along with applications for new titles. It is critical that all plans and documents are correct to ensure timely processing and issue of titles. The November timeframe allows for the expected influx and is reliant on a plan or application not requiring requisition for further information.
It is expected that Landgate’s turnaround times (now updated daily) will remain low, however, industry can mitigate any delays by ensuring all plans and documents are correct and lodged early.
