Use this page to access Landgate’s land transaction procedure guides. They provide information on a wide range of land transactions, supporting you to understand what is required and to keep up with changing legislation and best practice.
You can find which guide you need through our ‘search guides by keywords’ or ‘view and filter by guide type’ search options below. If your keyword search involves more than one word adding quotation marks before and after will improve for your search results for example "Discharge of Mortgage" rather than Discharge of Mortgage.There are four guide types to select from – land titles, strata titles, community titles, and survey and plan.
For assistance with terminology used please refer to the Landgate Glossary of Terms.
