What is included?
The tenure dataset contains information about the ownership of freehold land and vesting of Crown land in Western Australia. Tenure data, sourced from Landgate and updated daily, is gathered from Transfer of Land documents recorded as part of the document registration process.
Tenure data contains owners' name information and is subject to strict licensing conditions.
Tenure data gives you:
- register number (Certificate of Title)
- land parcel address
- land parcel area
- owner name (subject to privacy conditions)
- date of acquisition
- lot on plan
- unique PIN number (when ordered with survey/land), which enables linking the tenure data to the spatial cadastral dataset.
The strata tenure layer provides detailed information relating to building strata lots, including addressing and strata lot entitlements.
The land tenure layer provides information relating to land ownership, Certificate of Title (Register), registration documents and other information relating to land parcels.
PLEASE NOTE: For all legal and conveyancing purposes, you should refer to the imaged original documents maintained at Landgate.
